more than a leaflet
Flyers are cheap, disposable items that are not very sustainable and therefore not very useful. For HafenCity, we have therefore chosen the underestimated format of the classic leporello.
The special feature of the leporello is its flowing narrative possibilities and practical handling. It is particularly suitable for programmes. Ideally, it should be hung on the fridge or the front door for a good overview.

Leporello is the name of the opera character from Mozart's "Don Giovanni" (also known as "Don Juan"). He is the servant of the womanizer.
Leporello keeps a list of all his mistresses for his master. This list is extensive and constantly growing. That's why Leporello has to add sheets to it. To keep the work of art with him at all times, he folds it up like an accordion.
Following the performance tradition, Leporello unfolds this list on stage to great effect.
