wordmark or coat of arms?

Rhein Property has been helping people find luxury vacation homes and apartments since 2004. We work with clients looking for winter resorts like Kitzbühel, St. Moritz, Gstaad, Verbier, and Zermatt, as well as summer destinations like Ibiza, Mallorca, St. Tropez, and Italy.

We needed a logo for the holding company that would match the logos we'd already designed for our branches in St. Moritz and Kitzbühel.

Luxury is often symbolized by animals. 


That's why we chose an animal motif, because it has a direct relationship to the logos of the lodges in Kitzbühel and St. Moritz. 

The lion was particularly interesting for us. 

This animal has been portrayed time and again since the Stone Age. 


As a symbol of wealth, power, and dominion, the lion is—no surprise—the most popular heraldic animal of all time.

Schlussendlich hat unser Konzept mit dem Tiermotiv leider nicht so richtig gezogen.


Wir haben dann einfach einen typografischen Ansatz gewählt mit den Initialen von den beiden Firmengründern, R und S. So sind wir auf ein Siegel-artiges Design gekommen, bei dem das R und das S durch Subtraktion abstrahiert dargestellt werden.
