The federal state of Schleswig-Holstein and the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg underscored the importance of their cooperation for the first time with a joint trade fair magazine for EXPO REAL 2013.

We adapted the print edition (designed by lab3 mediendesign) as an e-magazine for the iPad®. In order to test the effort of a 1:1 conversion of a print product, we deliberately chose a solution without the complex interactive functions of iPad apps. This allowed us to focus on converting a print magazine into a native app and test its acceptance with the relevant target audience during the trade show.

The results were amazing!
