the interactive city
HafenCity Hamburg GmbH is the driving force behind Hamburg's four major urban development projects. In addition to HafenCity, they are developing Grasbrook, the Billebogen project, and Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld.
We've developed an application based on the eyefactive multi-touch system that provides easy access to all aspects of these four outstanding projects. And the best part? It's available in both German and English!
Since 2021, the system has been used at trade fairs, in the HafenCity InfoCenter, and on a 65-inch touchscreen in the central meeting room of HafenCity.
The version presented here was presented at the MIPIM 2024 real estate trade fair in Cannes.

Of course, such a touch medium is not an end in itself. It's not just a decorative element that you have standing around at a trade fair. Oh no! The system is an anchor for conversations and offers all the relevant information.
The great thing about this system is that it's flexible, so it's easy to update and keep up to date.
