Touch Table Urban Development Projects Hamburg
The interactive city
We developed an interactive touch table for HafenCity Hamburg GmbH that brings together Hamburg's four major urban development projects in one digital application.
It was created for exhibitions, presentations, and public dialogue. The interface translates complex urban planning content into a clear and accessible spatial experience. It helps users find their way around, explore projects in depth, and engage with the city's ongoing transformation through a precise and elegant multitouch system.
The interface was totally revamped in 2025 and again in March 2026, in response to fresh content, changing needs, and a more polished user experience.
It's more than just a tool for information — it's a digital platform that makes urban development in Hamburg visible, understandable, and tangible.
These photos capture the touch table in real use at events and leading real estate trade fairs such as MIPIM and EXPO REAL. In these settings, it creates an intuitive and engaging way to explore complex urban development projects.
