The first drafts

Since October 2023, a bunch of planning teams have been brainstorming ideas for the future "Quartier am Volkspark" — a new neighborhood in Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld.

They're all about urban design, open spaces, and how different uses can come together in a lively, well-connected district. The goal is to create a diverse mix of housing, social and educational infrastructure, university facilities, and plenty of green public spaces.

For Science City Day, the design concepts were presented to the public on June 1.

To give visitors a better idea of the project and our approach, we created a series of exhibition posters that highlight the key themes, ideas, and visions behind the new neighborhood.
