After a long transition, we've officially said goodbye to Adobe. For us, this step had been coming for a while, and now that it's done, it just feels right.

As a design and motion studio, we use tools every day. They need to be fast, stable, intuitive, and flexible. It's crucial that they support our workflow instead of slowing it down.

That's why we've rebuilt our creative setup around tools that actually help us move forward — without unnecessary complexity, subscription traps, or half-finished features.

Our new creative toolkit includes:

  • Design and layout: Affinity and Canva

  • Video: Final Cut Pro and Topaz Video for AI-based enhancement and upscaling

  • Animation: Motion

  • Image editing: Pixelmator Pro and Topaz Photo

  • Office and presentations: Pages, Numbers and Keynote

  • Sound and assets: Envato, Artlist and Audiio

  • Data and backup: Synology DSM

The result is a workflow that feels faster, lighter, and more enjoyable. Everything works smoothly together, and creative production feels more direct again.

For us, this change is about more than just replacing software. It's all about picking the tools that work best for us, so we can be independent and efficient.

We've come to the conclusion that there are some great alternatives out there.

Sometimes it's good to question the things you're used to, try new ways of doing things, and make space for better solutions. Saying goodbye to Adobe has allowed us to streamline our creative process and focus on what's really important.

Just give it a shot — you might be pleasantly surprised.
